WASHINGTON—As America recovers from the shock wave that was the election of Donald Trump over Hilary Clinton many in the Democratic party have been asking what’s next? Since President Obama’s re-election in 2012 Democrats have lost 63 House seats, 10 Senate seats and 12 governorships.
A new leader is needed and Vice President Joe Biden might be just the man. He has the experience and popularity required but it’s unclear how far his ambitions stretch. He is very comfortable visiting small towns and grabbing beers or shooting darts with the locals and is expected to do very well in the rust-belt states that took down Clinton. When asked about running in 2020 against Trumps he seemed hesitant as he ate his ice cream cone,
